Wire one end for EIA-568a and the other for EIA-568b:

568b is:

   1  W/O
   2  O
   3  W/GR
   4  BL
   5  W/BL
   6  GR
   7  W/BR
   8  BR

568a is:

   1  W/GR
   2  GR
   3  W/0
   4  BL
   5  W/BL
   6  0
   7  W/BR
   8  BR

On the RJ45 connector on the cable, hold it as if you were going to plug
the cable in, with the lock-in  tab down.  Pins are numbered from left
to right.

I think this should work for 100-base T as well as 10-base T.  Some
hubs/routers/switches can be very picky about line quality.  Be sure you
make it clean.
